New at dobbi: Shoe cleaning
As the first one in the Netherlands dobbi launches a revolutionary shoe cleaning service for sneakers suède shoes
Want to freshen up your suède boots, leather shoes or white sneakers? Our service is available in Zuid-Holland, Gelderland, Utrecht, Nood-Brabant & Amsterdam and surroundings.
How does it work?
- Step 1: Check below whether your shoes are suitable.
- Step 2: Place a dobbi order in the app or online with a minimum order value of € 24,95 and select shoe service.
- Step 3: Place all your laundry in the dobbi laundry bag and put your shoes in there (max. 1 pair).
Why clean shoes?
Everyone has a few shoes or sneakers that are in the closet with stains that are hard to remove yourself. For different materials and fabrics of shoes there is a special way of cleaning them. Your suède shoes for example shouldn’t be cleaned in the same way as white sneakers. With the dobbi service you no longer have to worry. With dobbi your shoes last longer and look better.
Risks of washing them at home in the washing machine
Damaged adhesive layer
The adhesives in your shoe can become damaged. This can lead to your rubber soles becoming loose.
Shrink and discolour
Rubber soles can shrink in the washing machine, white soles can even turn out yellow!
Logo's fade or become damaged.
By washing shoes they become in contact with water and detergent for a prolonged time, consequently logo's can fade or be damaged.
Dented Heel Pieces
Dit is the reinforcement that puts the heel in its correct place and supports your feet. these reinforcements often contain out of materials that are damaged easily in the washing machine.
